All Presidents are elected by majority vote and blacks are not the majority in America. I also feel that if blacks would invest in themselves and black businesses as much as they do the church, we would be unstoppable. Appeals to fat cat preachers seem to go unheard to start investing in black communities.

What you say may be true about succuessful blacks giving back to the black communities. But we still can not exhaust these benevolent individuals like they are a walking welfare office. I can remember when the vietnamese came here in 1975 and went into business and eventually bought up all of the surrounding buildings in the black communities, that we passed by everyday before they got here, Black folks bottom lip looked like a mule with a brier stuck in it, when they seen what the vietnamese had accomplished. Sure alot of them had money when they came here and financial resources to. But they all had one collctive mind to pool their resources to get ahead in every aspects of their lives. A to the men!! There are always going to be Black people complaining about what somebody else is not doing. And usually the main ones that are complaining are not and have not done a single thing to better their race and their communities. There is soo much division and dysfunction in the Black race, and they need to work on themselves and what they can change, do, and contribute to better their race, before they expect someone else to fix everything. I get so sick and tired of that mentality. And what big contributions has Danny Glover made to better his race, other than talk? I am going to do some research to see if there is any information on any significant contributions that he has made to make things better for the Black race, because he has the money and the status to get some things done.
